Carport frame complete
We now have a fairly complete carport frame up and ready for roofing! 
Thanks to the many hands that helped over the holidays including Sandy, Jo, Bill, Jeremy, Nigel and Brian. 
An unusual flower
The result of something that probably only an owner builder would do – using a magnet to pick up metal debris from the site! 
Next time, a stronger magnet.
Back to building
The next job on the horizon is getting a carport onto this wall (and a verandah around the back)!
Fence repairs finished
Finished the fence repairs (for now) just as the rain started to fall!

Toilet and tap
A functioning toilet and a tap near the house. So good!
The junkyard
Cleaning up the site and continuing the project of keeping all waste separated for reuse or recycling. Everything in its right place!
Fence repairs
Replacing the broken cement sheeting under our fence with hardwood sleepers. A surprisingly time consuming job! So much better result.
Carport and verandah footings
After striking sizeable granite last year and having to rethink things, foundations for the carport and verandah posts are all done. Moved about one cubic metre of dirt by hand – only noticed the wheelbarrow had a flat tyres after I finished!
