Three days in and the hound house has straw bales! All the bales are in and trimmed. Poles for top plates in place, with tie down wires in position.

Two days into the hound house build and we have the makings of a foundation. Never thought it would take so long to get out of the ground!

A cold winter night is an excellent inspiration for some straw bale building on a small scale. Presenting the detailed drawings of a straw bale dog kennel for two pooches!

Ganmain workshop
Fantastic five day workshop with Huff and Puff in Ganmain over Easter. Much more relaxed pace than Carngham – time to take it all in and learn the theory side of things. Great to meet more budding straw bale builders – look forward to hearing of everyone’s journeys from here!
Carngham workshop
Oh so many bales to be raised at the Huff and Puff workshop at Carngham. Worked pretty damn hard for three days. Great experience with a great crew!
